Bookkeeper

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. If you have experience in UK finance and proficiency in XERO, we want to hear from you. This is a remote role with occasional in-person meetings in Colombo 5.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions.
• Update and maintain the general ledger.
• Reconcile entries into the accounting system.
• Record debits and credits accurately.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure transaction accuracy.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years of work experience in bookkeeping (mandatory).
• Hands-on experience with XERO accounting software.
• Experience in UK finance or accounting.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance, or qualifications in CA/CIMA/ACCA (optional).

Work Details

• Location: Remote (WFH) with occasional meets at Colombo 5 office.
• Work Hours: 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM (45 hrs/week)
